It’s time to renew your membership for 2023
Once again, its the time of year when we ask you to start thinking about renewing your membership in the Arts Council.
2023 is coming soon, and even though our new year isn’t here yet, any memberships renewed after October 1st roll over to the next year. SOOOO … before it gets crazy busy with holiday fun, we’re asking you to consider doing it now.
Why should I renew (or begin) a membership?
Like any non-profit group, we need the support of people that support what we do. Although we are lucky enough to have some funding from an endowment left us from the Elliot Family and state grants, those don’t cover many of our expenditures – and your memberships are how we help to bridge the gap.
What do I get from a membership?
You mean besides supporting a wonderful arts group?
Your membership means you can actively help shape our group and our events – all members are welcome to come to our monthly meetings and cast their vote on the items we’re considering. You’ll also be added to our mailing list so you get either a monthly newsletter or postcard with a list of upcoming events. Never will you have to think “Well darn … I would have like to do that, but I didn’t know it was happening!”
Sounds great – how do I sign up?
You’re in the right place!
Look up there at the top of the page … see the Membership tab? Click on it and when the next page opens, click on the “Membership Form” box. It will open a form that you can print out and fill in and mail to us. Don’t have a printer at home? I’ll let you in on a secret …. after we mail newsletters we take any extras to the Sturgis Public Library. There’s a kiosk in the lobby that has some (assuming someone else hasn’t gotten to them first) so go on down there and grab one and look at the back page – voila!! If all else fails, you can send us an e-mail to saacpublicity@hotmail.com and ask about membership. Our lovely arts coordinator will be happy to tell you the various levels of membership and give you our address to mail your check to.
Thank you – so much – all of you, for supporting us and helping us keep doing what we’re doing.
ART is the HeART of the Community!!
